An Excellent Story about a Teacher
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and the reason is that I am an old high school teacher. I taught for thirty-three years before retiring in 2006. I returned to teach in a friend’s place for three months in 2008 after being required not to teach for one year after retirement. Also, in 2008, I returned to teaching a two hour class for Upward Bound students and got a part time job teaching homebound students, helping them keep up with their school work while they were recovering from illness. Now, it is 2018, and I am seventy years old and still teaching part time. Like the professor in this story, I have fond memories of my students, most of whom made the job of trying to educate them in some way a very rewarding experience. Of course, it was not an easy job, and there were good times and bad times, but unlike the professor in this story, when I finally have to let it go for good, it will not be with the feeling of not having accomplished anything. It’s a wonderful story, especially for an old school teacher who has a wealth of memories of many of those whom I have had the opportunity to share not only my knowledge of authors, stories, and poems (like the professor), but also my ideas, my values, and my beliefs, something that I am reminded of continually by them when we meet here, there, and everywhere as time continues to go by.

Love full cast productions
I have enjoyed all of the Twilight Zone stories, some more than others. Full cast productions have always been my favorite. This is why I always pick up a few of these short stories. I enjoy the break from the longer novels and get so much satisfaction from the performances. The price is right if you grab some of the individual short stories.

Dull and predictable.
The two sentence summary actually describes the whole episode in it's entirety. Thankfully a short episode. Skip this one.
