The sword of destiny has two blades...
Where does Sword of Destiny rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Sword of Destiny is one of the best audiobooks I've listened to. Even though it is a collection of short stories, they all fit together so well that it's actually easy to forget this...just brilliant.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Sword of Destiny?
Listening to Geralt talking to the mermaid using their singing dialect...what could have easily sounded like Sean Bean having a go at drunken karaoke on a night out is actually believable and really well done!
Have you listened to any of Peter Kenny’s other performances? How does this one compare?
So far I've only hear Peter Kenny reading Andrzej Sapkowski's The Last Wish, and Blood of Elves, but I'll definitely be listening to his other work in future. When it comes to the Witcher characters though, Peter Kenny is fantastic! Every character is completely unique and recogniseable, and listening to this audiobook has given me a completely new experience of Sword of Destiny.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I didn't have to move about, speak to people, and live life a little bit, I would have happily listened to Sword of Destiny from start to finish in one sitting.
Any additional comments?
The second book in the Witcher series, Sword of Destiny takes us even further into the life of Geralt of Rivia, Witcher of the Wolf School of Kaer Morhen, and the many unusual and interesting characters he meets on The Path. And monsters. There are quite a few monsters too. There are also laughs aplenty and unexpected moments where you'll feel like you've been kicked in the gut. Start by listening to The Last Wish, but before you move on to Blood of Elves, the start of the main series of Witcher novels, don't miss out on Sword of Destiny. A must listen for fans of The Witcher, and those who are new to the series!

Stands above the usual genre offerings
Within a genre that has so many protagonists of such a wide diversity of talents it is often very difficult to find a 'good' book. I have often thought to give up the genre completely after so many disappointments and then one finds a book of quality that reminds you why you do listen. Well constructed sympathetic characters within a well told original yarn. Add to this a fine narrator and you have a worthwhile listen
Yup, enjoyed this one

Peter Kenny does a fantastic job bringing the characters to life raising this audio book to another level.
If you are after some early back story for the Witcher 3 game, then this is it. The story and characters are engaging and the segmented story works really well. Very enjoyable.
