Loved it!

First, the narrator, Elizabeth Knowelden is very talented which makes this book much better than the first book. I could listen to her read a phone book her voice is so lovely. And she did a great job of changing voices to suit the character in the book. Second, the book is just as well written as the first and was a joy to learn more about beautiful Sisi. Highly recommend this book. To bad the first one can't be rerecorded using this narrator as it would make all the difference but sadly you'll have to suffer through the first one else you will be confused where this one picks up.

outstanding in every way

Where does Sisi rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was rich and full of depth. I was engaged throughout the story. The narrator was superb. Actually - she was the best narrator of all the books I've listen to so far. She was adept at expressing the tones and nuances of all the characters giving them a unique voice. She brought the story to life. This book was well done and very complete.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sisi?

Sisi death

well told story

never heard the story of Empress Elizabeth. well narrated. I wish the author went into more detail about the current day events that led to WW1 and the class warfare. everything was about Sisi which got tiring half way through.

There could not have been a more perfect narrator for this captivating historical piece. I just wish that the first book ‘Accidental Empress’ had been performed by Elizabeth Knowland. Read through Sisi’s eyes, her story is brought to life in every elaborate detail.

Entranced in the Story

This book is well written and well presented by the reader. You are invited into the inner parts of Sisi's life even more so than in the first book. It's enthralling and I couldn't stop listening. It's sad, and raw, and real.
