Unputdownable. excellent and engrossing. complex interweaving storylines superbly managed and executed, leading the reader on, deeper and deeper into this world of honour and revenge.
Fabulous! full of great insights
I know the work very well and didnt think there would be much to this... but it is incredibly good. lots and lots of wisdom and many aha moments as well as new exercises and perspectives on getting back to reality. I am going to listen to this again right away. Thank you Katie!
tiresome and trite
I was expecting something deeper. This is a motivational read with good lessons in for those who want to 'succeed' in life while fostering a more spiritual approach in general. It's much nothing to do with Buddhism much more to do with motivation and getting what you want from life using spiritual approaches. As a 'fable' it is rather tiresome and trite and was a bit saccherine in places. having said all of that it gives good pointers that will lead you to a richer, happier life.
This was just wonderful. felt I was there with everyone. and eckhart is so FUNNY! Loved it and will listen to it again. Recommended!

food for heart and soul
Nourishing and inspiring. highly recommended. I will be listening to this again. especially liked Marianne's review and nterpretation of the core messages of Buddha, Moses/Exodus and Jesus Christ.
listen, sit still and listen again!
Beautiful teachings from Papaji. You will need to listen and sit and listen and sit... excellent performance - the questions and answers are universal and the performance makes the difference between the human body mind and the awakened soul delightfully clear.
what a romp
enjoyed it immensely. Tough going in places and quite startling.
Last few words were especially entertaining.
must have been great fun to write. Bravo!
nothing to get excited about!
I confess I do envy the Scandinavian way of life, outlook, politics, culture, but this book was everso dull. A bit like all the good intentions you had ever had rolled into one long pious narrative. And obviously targeted at a different demographic as chapters on raising young children not at all relevant to me. I dont think my teenager would be very interested in leaf rubbings, for example, but I would be interested to know about approaches with young adults and intergenerational care in Sweden. Dull as pleasantly scented dishwater, in my humble opinion.
Martin Sheen's performance is stunning
What amazing reading of a gripping story - creating a truly great listen - epic!
Breathes new life into the story of Jesus. A delight to here Adyshanti speaking with such love for his subject. Highly recommended.
