Butch women

Although a good narrator, there is no differentiation between characters.
You can go from a tough marine, to a 10 year old girl with no change in pace or volume. I found myself jumping back to see if I missed a bit of the story

Bring back Christopher Ragland

I love the books and have several read by Luke Daniels which I enjoy but I love the characterisation from the previous books Oberon is a legend read by Christopher Ragland but just sounds dumb by Daniels

He said she said

I like the author and have read many of his other books; this is not his best but worth a listen.
The biggest issue is the same as with many audiobooks the " he said, she said" reputation. With many book now in multiple formats. Surely an author or editor can have a search function and re enter variety as it stand out like a sore thumb when you notice it

Not what you expect

I bought this book based on description and cover art ( never judge a book by its cover I KNOW)
I loved it. it is not a comedic super hero book. It is a story about a loner who hides in his desire to be someone else.

Winner

As a fan of sigler I was nervous as a female lead is a hard thing to get my head around as a fan but OMG Emma galvin knocked it out of the park.
This will appeal to any fan of sci fi or dystopian fiction

Nice one Scot

Change narrator

The delivery of the story is very much in the style of someone reading the book themselves, With no thought to spacing or change in tone between characters.
