Hilarious

This audiobook made me laugh throughout. I've had many entertaining car journeys with this story. Sophie Kinsella is fantastic at making you feel like you are right there with Emma amongst all her embarrassing moments. As well as the funny bits there is a lovely romantic story to keep you hooked and make you relate to her life. A great light hearted romantic comedy.

Amazing

I have listened to this audiobook 3 times already and would listen again. This is such and unusual story and even thought the very beginning is hard to get into the first time it is completely worth it. I love Stephanie Meyer's ability to make you feel the desperate never ending love these characters have for each other. The detail in the story takes you straight there to Melanie and Wanderer. I make time for this book, in bed, in the car, while I'm working. Kate Reading narrates this book wonderfully.

A wonderfully entertaining story

I could listen to this book over and over again. It's fascinating to hear about the dramatically different lives these people lead in the 60s. I was captivated by Skeeter's, Aibileen's and Celia's stories. More than that I could listen to the narrators voices all day every day. This story made me laugh put loud, brought tears to my eyes and filled me with elation. This is a must listen!

Fabulous and funny

Sophie Kinsella is entertaining as always. I loved listening to this story, even after reading it once before. As well as making me laugh every 5 minutes this story made me really think about how the life of each individual person is passionate and awe inspiring in its own way. I loved being taken through Sadie's life and wished I could have known her. twenties girl is as great as the whole Shopaholic series.

Best science lesson ever

I think I learned more from this audiobook than I ever did at school. I found it so fascinating and wanted it to keep going. It made me want to be a cosmologist, a geologist and an archeologist all at once. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is curious about all things science. Narrator William Roberts has a great enthusiastic voice which encourages you through the detailed, difficult facts. I have never been more eager to learn than since listening to this book.

Amazing story

I absolutely loved this audiobook. I hadn't got around to reading it and had be told how wonderful it was. At first I thought the jumps in time would be confusing, but it flowed so well and I fell in love with the characters straight away. I could be convinced this story was real and never wanted it to end. The two narrators worked perfectly together. I giggled, sighed and cried. I even made my car journeys longer just to keep listening. I will be picking up the book next.

Great way to learn about science

A fantastic way to learn about all things science. Ben Miller mixes his background of science and comedy in a way that makes you wish you paid more attention at school. For some reason the cake story resides in my mind although it hasn't helped my ability to bake! I love the way you hear his passion for this subject coming through his words. The low, steady timbre of his voice has kept me going through many long car journeys. I would recommend this audiobook to anyone who enjoys the scientific workings of the world, but gets boggled by detailed facts.
