Not my normal type of book but enjoyed it!

Not like any other book I’ve listened to before but must say it’s very good, never knew where it was going to go and the characters (the bobs) are cool. Looking forward to starting the next one tomorrow!

Welcome dip into the 7 kingdoms

I thought this book was great and perfect for listening to on the move! Dunc the main character is another great character! A few twists and turns not on the same level as GoT but a good solid story! The narrator does a excellent job too!

Took a while to get in to it!

The idea behind these books is excellent and well thought out. The pace of the story is a good pace too.

I did struggled to connect with any of the characters as they are all very one dimensional, hard as nails marine types largely, with little to differentiate between them!

The narrator's English accent sounds Australian and his pronunciation of some places is off, like Folk Stone!

Overall I did enjoy these books and I am getting the next one, I think if I hadn't got the three book deal though I wouldn't have progressed with these but I'm pleased Idid.

It's the end of the world as we know it...

What did you like most about Yesterday's Gone: Season One?

I enjoyed the different characters, it's a good mix of different people from various backgrounds and back stories but you can see people potentially will met up as the story progresses.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Some really good characters, my favourite would be a toss up between Ed and Boricio Wolfe. Both characters I want to know more about.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I really like having different narrators for each characters, however it really bothered me that when two of the characters met up the original narrator doesn't do their character's voice. So a character who's voice you are used to is suddenly completely different!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No as it's quite long as there are a lot of characters which is good but would be too much to listen in one go.

Any additional comments?

There are a few characters I didn't like. Luca for one he's badly written, he's 8 but I don't think the author has come across many eight year olds as he talks like he's about five at best which I found annoying! Overall the characters are very entertaining.

Bill rules!

Not only is this four books for the price of one, but it's more importantly four superb books!

The characters are really likeable, the humour is great and the story lines are surprising and well thought out! Can't recommend it enough and can't wait to get the next book either!

If I could find any negatives, the recap bits explaining what has happened in previous books is a tad annoying at times (maybe because I listened to them one after another) but also because why would you read/listen to book two, three or four without reading the previous!

Not very interesting stories from a not very likeable guy

I liked the sound of this audiobook, thinking it would be a series of funny interesting stories, It wasn't!

It's well written and there is the odd laugh to be fair but not enough! I didn't find the stories very interesting or remarkable, just everyday type stuff people get up to really.

The main reason I didn't like it though was I got the feeling the author was a bit of a douche bag!
