Not what I was expecting
Perry spends a lot of time recounting his obvious obsession with historic Jewish practises, hypothesising how they might be connected to our modern day problems. Although I am a Christian I felt a lot of his suggestions were as much superstition as anything else, for example burying biblical quotes in the foundations of your house? I thought Jesus was the antidote to the layers of religious rigmarole which got between the Jews and God, that through Jesus and the Holy Spirit we are connected directly to God and are therefore free from these 'rituals'.
I was left shaking my head many times at how far removed this was from what I was expecting.
