Another good read

Not as spine tingling as some of Peter's other books this is nonetheless a good listen. I did feel like it ended a bit abruptly and whilst I understand the need for lead in to the next book this left just a few too many questions unanswered.

Ridiculously far fetched

I loved the first in the series, Enjoyed the second and felt the third was awful.

Sublime and exhilarating

One of the best real life accounts of war I have read, Makes you want to research and explore the events mentioned in the book and provides hours of entertainment.

A few chapter too long

What did you like best about The Last Mile? What did you like least?

A good story and well read but the plot continued to a point where it became boring - Could have finished 4-5 chapters earlier.

Which character – as performed by Kyf Brewer and Orlagh Cassidy – was your favourite?

Decker is a great character

A let down

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

No , Titus Welliver delivered it in a monotone boring voice - it would put you to sleep

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I returned the book before the end , Ill buy the paper version and finish it rather than listen to Titus

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Titus Welliver?

Anyone

Narrator was hard to listen to

Would you try another book written by Roy Keane and Roddy Doyle or narrated by Roy Keane and Stephen Hogan ?

I wouldn't listen to another book narrated by Stephen Hogan , Roy Keane's intro is great but as soon as Hogan takes over the book loses any edge. he ruined the book in my opinion -I had to switch it off

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Roy Keane and Stephen Hogan ?

Roy should have read the whole book himself or else stayed out of it completely - He set a tone which Stephen Hogan couldn't follow

If this book were a film would you go see it?

Yes
