Thought Provoking

If you could sum up Thirteen Reasons Why in three words, what would they be?

A Must Read

What did you like best about this story?

An interesting and unusual story, you feel like you are taking the journey with Clay.

Any additional comments?

Really good plot, excellent characters which the narrator voiced well.
I couldn't stop listening to this even with the difficult topics it dealt with.
I do feel the story could have been taken further though.

Good view of the martial arts world

Any additional comments?

Interesting to hear about where martial arts came from and is a good supplement for anyone learning any martial art, not just Krav Maga!
A good ethos is portrayed as it should be with any martial art, only use when absolutely necessary!

Ok

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Was interesting but would've been nice with more detail!
But maybe the author is working on this, an ever evolving subject.

Questionable

Is there anything you would change about this book?

It was an interesting story line idea which I was good however I'm not sure about so many points of view, it got slightly confusing and didn't always flow!
So a little hard to follow at times.
I shall be re-listening at some point to see if I can figure it out.

What aspect of Tanya Mills’s performance might you have changed?

Good performance, but maybe some tone changes would liven things up a bit.

Slightly Confusing but Interesting

Where does Time Heist rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Not the best, not the worst

What did you like best about this story?

I really enjoyed the ideas and descriptions of future tech! Some really great ideas; nanotech, intuits, maybe someday they'll be real!

I also enjoyed the incorporation of Adam and Eve.

The title names were good too :D.

Any additional comments?

Some parts were a little confusing and the story does jump about a bit, however the fact I often listen to audiobooks before bed may be a factor!
Will need to re-listen and check what I missed and look forward to doing so.

The story had twists and interesting ideas and development although it also was reminiscent of some other science fiction titles; in time especially, the fifth element, for me maybe even some correlation to mass effect :o etc.

Great narration and voice acting!
Really good at all the characters.

Interested to hear the next in the series!

A Good Collection

What does Joe Hempel bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Great Narration although not so sure about the female voices!

Any additional comments?

Firstly, I'm not a huge fan of horror but these short stories sounded too good to pass up.

I wasn't disappointed, this is a great collection of short stories and are somewhat thought provoking.
Feel like some of the stories were a little rushed and could have been developed more.
Some pretty twisted and detailed stories! , Jackie Boy.... xD.
