Honesty shines through

Very good and honest story. Gerald is not afraid to tell it like it happened. Unlike many others driven by their egos, Gerald is prepared to tell it warts and all. Enjoyed it immensely.

Bit too heavy on detail

Almost all of this book is dedicated to telling you why you are fat and only the final couple of chapters tell you what to do about it. I’m a fan of Dr Fung but most of what you will learn here you can find on YouTube.

Very useful

The subject has been covered elsewhere but not as well as this. Very comprehensive. Well researched and well presented.

Awesome book

It's long but worth it. Well read by Jimmy and totally understandable to a layman like me. Can't wait to see my results

Best book on its subject

This is an excellent book and possibly the best book on this subject. It's a bit technical at times but will satisfy the doubters on the complete authenticity of the low carb lifestyle. Strongly recommended

Great nuggets

Some great marketing nuggets here from Perry but why he never narrated himself is a disappointment. The narrater is too movie tone for me and I found his voice false and irritating. Content great though and Perry is a genius

My first and last Bob Dooley book

The entire premise of this book is that The author has access to the thoughts of those who passed but won't tell you how he knows. Anyway it's all about love but as often happens the title is a tad misleading

Nothing to do with the title

I thought this might be some awesome insight as to why I procrastinate sometimes and what actions I might take to combat that. Instead it's many hours of a droning Dalek like voice of some clever dude who seems to have mastered the art of saying a lot but not very much at the same time. So glad I didn't pay full retail for this. I gave it five hours but no more.

Alcoholic?

This book is written for alcoholics which I am not but there's useful information nevertheless for those like me who are thinking of quitting to help in weight loss efforts
