Loved it, epic heart and soul of a family life. My favourite is all of it, especially the ending which comes full circle. Wonderfully narrated and an epic and momentous experience and journey.

Roots is a must read/listen which is amazing and wonderful.

The Godfather

Epic all of it brilliant from beginning to end. I loved the tension, the planning and the ideals of the Dom. Not do muck the deaths! Neno is lovely, the Dom was fantastic and Michael is the Dom. A fantastic narration throughout, priceless and flawless performance. I just saw that there are two more books by the author, so I am off to get reading and downloading.

A Lesson Before Dying

Very heart felt story beautifully told. Such a sad narrative. I find it difficult to accept that people can judge so unfairly, with devastating consequences. How many innocent people were murdered by the law this way? The journey of the incident right through to the very end is about Jefferson, how his family Nan Nan and everyone is impacted. The defence were right, the murder and robbery was not Jefferson. Not a thing, or a hog but a strong, innocent man with the support of the teacher. Some seriously thought provoking story, told brilliantly. Saddening, true and disgusted by the attitudes and inequalities which should be told to allow anyone to see what happened, what one mans support for another and to prepare him to stand strong and be a man is a difficult journey to hear. The impact and difference one teacher has on Jefferson, provided him with strength and courage with new experiences which helped him.

This should be listened to by everyone, after all no money for the book, or the couple of hours you spare to listen are priceless. The lessons you learn, with your perspective and thoughts challenged and understand why change was needed to allow equality for all. Every one has rights and a voice. Be grateful for this.

Already listening to this again. Beautifully written and narrated and heartbreakingly honest like the book the colour purple.

While My Eyes Were Closed... Thought Provoking.

This is my first audiobook by this author and narrators. I found it very intriguing from the physiology, well put together and a great listen. The story was interesting and I enjoyed the twists and working through the connections.

Favourite character is Ella, and her continuous questions. The photograph was unexpected. A great read, great characters and certainly makes you think.

A coincidence is my thoughts, when is a coincidence, not a coincidence? Well worth listening to, and I will listen to more books by both the authour and narrators.

A good one.

Great Expectations

Loved it, absolutely stunned by how much. My fist novel by Charles Dickens and love everything about the whole book.

Great narration and fantastic over 3 parts. Pips' journey is wonderful and interesting. I love Jo and the aged, the language and have already selected a second book by this author.

I purchased this book a year ago and am so glad I did, and have had a truly remarkable experience exceeding all my expectations and initially they were not great!

I am certainly recommending this great book, and the adventure. A happy bunny having this book.

Phenomenally Brilliant

Oh my goodness, just this second finished listening to this amazing book. I already want to listen to it again. I am still in tears.

Beautiful story, wonderfully written and fantastically narrated. First book by this author and narrator for me. An experience which has touched my heart.

I highly recommend this audiobook to you for a fabulous listen. May Mo, Aibi, Minny and Skeeter are fantastic characters, even Constantine and so many more. A funny and sad story which I would love to continue.

Not my normal Martina Cole, Roberta Kray, Kathy Reikes and Patricia Cornwall gangster and murder books or chick lit book.

A heart wrenching story and if you read 'The Colour Purple' and thought that was an amazing book, then stop reading this and order this audio and download ASAP!

I had no expectations for this book, did not read the reviews and I do not write many reviews but this book has got a hold on me. Glad I do not like chocolate pie! Will remember to press my thumb in my own palm and personally proud to have been able to experience this book.

I already want to press play and listen again to make sure I did not miss a single word. Never judge a book by its cover, karma, pride and kindness are my key words for this book. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

Prize winning book. 5 stars and more.

Dark Places

Excellent 10/10 for author, narrator, storyline, plot, characters and value.

I read and listen to books every day and this is fantastic, a definite must have, unpredictable, believable and listened to in two days.

I am hard to please as a reader and listener and rarely write reviews unless the book is amazing. Never heard of the author or narrator before and both were fantastic.

My favourite character is Libby. Epic.

I have Gone Girl to read and was given it as a gift recently. I hope this book is a brilliant read too.

A Mother's Journey

Loved it, I have now listened to all of the audio book by June. Annie is a fantastic narrator. Favourite character is Vera.

I was wondering all throughout this book if it was the same Vera from the first five books with Daisy.

Great plot and had me giggling and in tears. My favourite part was the dancing, ok the whole book was brilliant but I cannot spoil the story for you.

A definite hit and worthwhile listening too.
