Bourne Brilliance once again!

Another forensic story....Field Craft and Trade Craft at its very best...Special Forces Supremacy at its absolute perfection!

Slow

Dreary and boring ,,
Far too much boring senseless dialogue,, this book could have been a quarter of the length,,
I normally enjoy Robert Ludlum books

Okay

It's better than the first book, the films are better. It's not like the second film.

Don’t do it

I’m a fan of Jason Bourne, don’t take up this book it was painful.
Yes, I’m sure there was a story there, but along forgot it through the agony of listening to it

Tedious

No doubt there is a story there, but I feel like I suffered my way through it. Perhaps I was thrown by the dual personalities of Jason Bourne, but I’m putting it down to an extremely far fetched plot. There were multiple occasions when I had no idea what was going on, so I would listen again to see what I missed to discover that it’s just a ridiculous story that’s been dragged out for too long.

Unnecessarily verbose!!!!

Again a fascinating storyline almost completely obscured by endless dialogues of angst by all characters. I gave up at Ch.27 as this became too tedious to bear, such a shame.

Didn't enjoy it

I had enjoyed the first book in the series despite it being very long but this one of a similar length seemed to me to be a laborious trudge through a convoluted, one-paced plot.

Bourne Supreme

Overall it’s a good story. A little more research would have helped grounding the tale in reality to then add the florid account.
A Royal Commando? A Royal Marines Commando has truth in it’s name. Use a Royal or a commando but not the two together missing “Marines’. A “silencer” or suppressor doesn’t stop a supersonic round going “boom” as it leaves the weapon. It can’t a sonic boom is a sonic boom or Concorde would have had a silencer. I’m nit picking but it doesn’t hurt to do some thorough research. Now a subsonic round is something to be afraid of. You won’t hear it coming.

The voices and accents are good but again some incorrect pronunciation and enunciated words soils a little a good performance. Maybe it’s the British English vs the American English that I’m not accounting for. Overall a good performance and if you ignore the Hollywood film, which for me was difficult being a big fan of the first three films maybe I’d see things differently.
I would recommend this if you enjoyed the first. If you want the Hollywood version you’ll have to stick with the film. Sorry.

Great narration, terrible sequel.

The sequel is long and boring. could have removed 300 plus pages of dialogue that was boring and pointless to the main plot. Marie's character is ruined. some farcical scenes, smart characters make stupid decisions. so disappointed. The sequel is just filler until the the third book concludes the story of the first one. problem is that now I dont want to read the third one.

Entertaining and griping

The story continues in Jason Bourne/David Webb battle for clarity. The two characters are different and similar in the same sentences. Good story and a good range of characters to follow through. Twists until the very end make for an exciting read after the first few chapters of character introduction. Enjoyed this to straight away purchase the next one in series.
