Summary
Archetypes, the latest work from New York Times best-selling author Caroline Myss, offers listeners an engaging and illuminating way to better understand themselves and those closest to them. Whether we're aware of it or not, each of us identifies with certain universal myths and symbols, otherwise known as Archetypes. In this new work, Myss covers 10 primary archetypes: Caregiver, Artist, Fashionista, Intellectual, Rebel, Queen/Executive, Advocate, Visionary, Athlete, and Spiritual Seeker. She helps us to determine which archetypes best define us as individuals, laying out each archetype’s unique path, hidden strengths, and potential weaknesses.
By identifying our personal archetypes, we can gain the knowledge necessary to consciously define and live an authentic life that reflects who we really are. Myss also includes suggestions for embracing one's archetype to the fullest, providing tools for avoiding common pitfalls and daily practices for enhancing the positive qualities of each archetype. Life Changing
Although I initially found the delivery a little ranty at the start, and I expected it to be an audiobook rather than a recorded seminar, the content of this book is genuinely life-changing. If you want to change your patterns and you’re ready to take massive responsibility, Archetypes is your roadmap.

ESSENTIAL & Excellent
Caroline Myss explains the parameters and laws of how the world actually works. She shows the us the boundaries and one instantly feels as if their head has been screwed back on and a great sense of relief.

Extraordinary
I love it. The content of this audio book if for those who are ready to see themselves, for those who don't want to continue with the excuses. Caroline Myss is not messing around. She is telling us the truth. We have the option, the choice, to take it as an offense and hide ourselves behind it, and use ironically, the Victim Archetype, or the child one abd take it personally. The thing is what it is .
Caroline Myss is passionate, I actually have enjoyed the audio book more than when is read by a narrator without the intensity and the energy that comes from someone who has lived the experience and knows what is talking about.
WOW !!
But if you are sensitive and a bit delicate, don't read it.
Highly recommended. I recommend too the Advanced Energy book of Co- creation.

Another Inspiring and Insightful Book
Having read Sacred Contracts, I was curious to learn more about archetypes and how they factor into everyday life. After all, every moment of our lives is a story, the roles we play, the interactions we engage in and so forth. So, if the whole world's a stage, what roles then, do we all play, and how does this impact on our lives? Have a listen or read of this insightful book and find out! As a therapist, I would have liked deeper investigations and information, but the content was quite adequate a for lay readers and with Dr Myss' engaging style, you can't get better. Highly recommended.

Can’t have enough of her
Caroline is the undisputed heavy-weight world champion of the realm of the divine on earth.
I’ve been listening to her work for many years. I have all her previous audiobooks and I have listened to the first archetypes audiobook.
What I enjoyed about this one so much is that it’s classic Caroline Myss but with even greater skill at expressing her ideas in ways that resonate with you. It’s also refreshing to hear her talk about the archetypes in the context of today’s world, which has changed so much since she recorded the first library.

Not a book
I have downloaded two Caroline Myss “books” and have been disappointed twice to find they are recorded seminars, not audiobooks as one would expect. I think this needs to be made clearer, especially as her delivery is quite strident at times. That said, I will continue listening with an open mind as people seem to say positive things about the subject matter. But please market and display the product more clearly.
