Summary

Corey Taylor has seen a lot of unbelievable things. The Grammy Award-winning singer of Slipknot and Stone Sour's curiosity has drawn him into situations that would’ve sent most people screaming scared and running for the hills.

Corey’s ballsy enough to go into the darkness and deal with the consequences, though. As a result, he’s seen ghosts up close and personal, whether it be while combing through an abandoned house in his native Iowa as a child or recording an album in the fabled Houdini Hollywood Hills mansion. He’s also got the memories (and scars) to prove it. For some reason, he can’t seem to shake these spectral stories, and that brings us to this little tome right here....

At the same time, being an erudite, tattooed, modern Renaissance Man, he never bought into the whole God thing. Simply put, he’s seen ghosts, but he hasn’t seen Jesus. Corey especially can’t find a reason why people do the insane things they do in HIS name. That’s where everything really gets interesting.

His second book, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven, compiles Corey’s most intimate, incredible, and insane moments with the supernatural. His memories are as vivid as they are vicious. As he recounts these stories, he questions the validity of religious belief systems and 2,000-year-old dogma.

As always his rapid-fire writing, razor-sharp sense of humour, unbridled honesty, and cosy anecdotes make quite the case for his point. You might end up believing him or not. That’s up to you, of course. Either way, you’re in for a hell of ride.

The outrageous sequel to Corey Taylor's Seven Deadly Sins is now available as an audiobook.

absolutely brilliant!

I have been a believer of the paranormal for a very very long time. So hearing these story's off someone I have been a fan of since I heard Slipknots Iowa is great. The overall book was fantastic I could not stop listening to it. There were parts that were confusing but there were parts I couldn't stop laughing. I have had things happen to me, family and friends, funny enough I was also pushed down some stairs were I used to work. I have also heard things and seen things I can't explain and it's difficult to explain to people who think your a f'ing idiot. So hearing this book has definitely made me very proud to be a believer of spirits/ghosts. Also I want to say a huge thank you to Corey Taylor your a cracking guy so keep being awesome! I am Very much looking forward to hearing the next book.

Corey Taylor for president already!!!

We need more people that think like him in the world. His level of open mindedness is quite rare.

Fantastic read for paranormal enthusiasts. NOT A MUSIC BOOK

For anyone like me who is a big fan of Corey and of the Paranormal. This a fantastic read. Great balance of "ghost stories, theory behind them and other subjects such as religion with a wonderful Corey Taylor twist to it. Love the book!!

Corey is at it again!

Took me a while to get into this one, but Corey does hit his stride after a couple of chapters. His delivery was a lot better than his first book, which was also great, and I hope his other 2 are of the same quality, if not better.
Corey Taylor has some stories to tell and I know for a fact there is plenty left in the tank.
Well read and brilliantly put.

Intelligent & thought provoking

A refreshingly honest discussion on the Paranormal which left me wishing I could respond! Well considered at at times humorous.

Good read/listening to

It was like sitting in a room with Corey Taylor and listening to him telling his stories. I really enjoyed this book. I lived with "imprints of departed souls" ;) (ghosts) too and I totally agree with Corey about the energies left behind. If you like a ghost stories with a rock star way of telling them, grab some drink of your choice, make yourselves cosy and press "play".

Entertaining, Informative and Gripping

This is the second audible book that I have purchased from Corey Taylor. As a narrator, he is easy to listen to and very engaging. The book is very funny, at times very Gripping and a bit dark. at times very light hearted and warm. Its a very well balanced book, Corey is very open about his experiences and is on a journey towards understanding, rather than being preachy and pushy with his beliefs (or lack of).

Well worth it!

I own all his books in physical forms but hearing them read from the man himself is definitely worth it!
