Summary

It is 1658 - the dying days of the English Republic under the Cromwells - and a down-on-his-luck publisher, Bartholomew Garnet, gets the chance to publish Paradise Lost by John Milton. But why is the office of censorship so interested in the manuscript? Why is his obliging new housekeeper asking so many questions? And will Garnet discover principles in time to get Paradise Lost published?

OK For 49 Pence

OK, nothing to write home about. Nothing memorable. Was only 49p which was good for you cannot buy very much for that price these days. Fills in times when you just want sound in the background whilst you are focused on something else. Maybe it will grow on me in time.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
