Short but sweet, oh so sweet.

Well read and well recorded. This auido collection is a 'best of' but a great place to start with Byron. Like an audio version of the Dover Thrift little collection of his works. Obviously it only contains snippets of the big works but one can really get a feel for the man. Witty, fun and often profound, Byron still stands up today. His wonderful take downs of the reactionary lake poets in their later life is up their with Oscar Wilde and Shakespeare for insults (Or roasting as I believe the kids say these days). All in all a worthy edition to any library.
