Summary

Auferstehung ist der dritte Roman von Leo Tostoi. Er erschien im Jahr 1899.

Inhalt: Ein adliger Gutsherr ist Geschworener bei Gericht. Er erkennt in einer angeklagten Prostituierten ein von ihm in der Osternacht, dem Fest der Auferstehung von Jesus, verführtes Mädchen wieder. Er fühlt sich mitschuldig an ihrem Schicksal und bemüht sich um eine Urteilsrevision. Ob das gelingt?
