Summary

Bachelor Pad Economics is THE financial advice bible for men and any women who are bold enough to listen to it!

Whether you're 14 and just trying to figure out life, or 70 and starting to think about estate planning, Bachelor Pad Economics addresses every major (and minor) economic and financial issue the average man will face in his entire life. From dating, to what to major in, to purchasing a home, to starting a business, to children and wife training, Bachelor Pad Economics is the wisdom you wish the father-you-never-had gave you.

Written for guys, it is candid, blunt, honest and everything else Oprah isn't, and will give you the road map you need to provide direction and purpose in your life. Guaranteed to prove more useful than a college degree, "Bachelor Pad Economics" is well worth the money to buy and the time to listen to.

Very informative and useful information

I truly did enjoy this book and the story really will help for the future. The knowledge gained from listening to this I will with me forever. The only thing I was not very impressed with was slagging off Christianity. Being a Christian I found it offensive that you basically have to stay away from woman who loves Jesus, because sex is more important to you than anything else. I know everyone has their own opinions, hence why I voiced mine. I will advise people that this is a must listen book, since eveyone should know most of the information provided. thanks

Many unsubstantiated points in this book

Decent book however the author holds a lot of beliefs that they do not substantiate or clarify why they are true, he just simply makes the point. eg "get a motorcycle to look cool to girls! just do it!" (lol what? almost as dumb as wimpy men who learn guitar to impress girls who the author also seems to abhor). He does make many good substantiated points especially regarding things like housing and economics however there were many points he made where there was little explanation for why his point is true beyond either ideology or pseudoscience. Furthermore, the book is very USA centric so if you're outside the country a lot of the book is useless. All in all I'll say It's a somewhat useful book for young American men however I would not consider this epiphany inducing. Ultimately, take some of his advice with a grain of salt.

Too political for my tastes + nothing new

author spends too much time going on about his anti socialist leanings, too political for my tastes. Also its very American centric. The economics terminology is appreciated, but there's nothing here other books haven't done much better.

Contradictory

author loses credibility by expressing constant right wing political views...fine but thats not what the book is about...and then advises to milk all socialised systems...makes no sense...Sound bites of advice..not carefully thought through.Contradicts his advice frequently.

Wonderfully detailed and direct

Love the well researched advice for many different aspects of life giving a clear blueprint for improving the quality of your life and retirement.

I was impressed with the consideration of whether the listener/reader was single or planning to get married and it shows how much value was intended to be provided!

Directed to plenty of resources, leaving no excuse for procrastination, which if you are like me, may have led you to find this book. Enjoy!
