Weiße Weihnachten? Nein, an diesem 24. Dezember liegt nur oben auf den hohen Bergen Schnee. Trotzdem freuen sich Konrad und sein Schwesterchen Sanna. Weil es so warm ist, dürfen sie zu den Großeltern ins Nachbartal hinüberwandern. Am Abend wollen sie wieder zu Hause bei ihren Eltern sein, doch auf dem Rückweg schneit es plötzlich sehr stark. Schnell wird alles weiß. Die Kinder können die Landschaft nicht mehr sehen und den Weg nicht mehr finden. Weiter und weiter steigen sie ins Gebirge hinauf, bis es rund um sie nur noch Eis und Schnee gibt. Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht... eiskalte Nacht. Wird es ihre letzte sein?
