What did you like most about A Life Without Limits?
Firstly, I really liked Imogen Church's reading and will keep an eye out for other audiobooks narrated by her.
I really enjoyed this audiobook and found it quite inspiring. I had never heard of Chrissie before listening to this book, as the world of sport and athletics has never interested me much. I think that is partly because the readily accessible sport coverage, for me, was predominantly masculine and normally accompanied by macho talk and disparaging comments from fellow [male] spectators when I pondered how nice it would be to see coverage of women's sports. I tuned out long before women's sports became more accessible and thus I missed out.
Chrissie's story though inspired me to search out coverage, not just of women, but also of these endurance sports. I had no idea what an Iron Man entailed and am blown away that so many people have undertaken such an amazing journey. The book highlighted for me how such events are not about pure physical ability, but really all about one's mind.
I found the tone of this audiobook to be inviting and quite personal in places. Her observations on development were not just interesting, but they struck a chord with me.
But perhaps most shockingly of all, the book pushed me towards putting on some trainers and going for a run, albeit a very short one.
I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

What does Imogen Church bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
She brings some accents but also emotion through her narration.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were many moments that moved me, especially some of the race descriptions with the Iron Man during which Chrissie was crook being one of the most memorable.

I've listened to more than just a few audiobooks, but this one tops the list! Listening to Chrissie Wellington's journey through Triathlon and Iron man, pushing herself to her limit and beyond was an absolute joy. She is more than just your average sporting hero, she is a true Champion. You can apply her mind set to not only your sporting endeavours, but to your everyday life. I run about 3 times a week probably averaging about 20 miles, but listening to this book, makes me push that little bit harder every time. I would recommend this book anyone and everyone. Truly inspirational!!

I just can't take it anymore!! I tried and tried but it is so drug out at the beginning with thanks to everybody she has ever met in her entire life from birth but then goes into me me me me and how bad I used to be but how great I am now. I got a few chapters in and had to quit. I listened to other documentaries from Chris froome, Bradley Wiggins and Sean Yates and they were good but this was too much.

Start was little slow but it picked up the pace after certain period when she started her training with Bret. Explanation of the feelings is amazing. I loved the explanation of races.
