The Dog And Human pack

This is a unique document of dog and human relationships. Other dog books, however, fondly, regard dogs as a different species. This does not happen here and the book is the profoundest chronicle of childhood, doghood and the passages of life - love, separation and death - experienced togther as one pack. Perhaps shocking to some readers for an uncompromising account of growing up, but totally absorbing and cathartic. The patchwork of fur motive binds all together and the power of love between dogs, humans amd between the narrator and his lady expressed with a unique strength. Brilliant having it read by the author.
