it was like reading about my life.
Eventhough the author and I are years apart...I was born 1958, the story was so much like what I had experienced that is was as if someone took a snapshot of my early life! Great story and very good narration.

Not for me
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Only if they're really interested in a very long story having little to do with mental illness.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The family's heritage. Just was too long.
Do you think Four Rooms, Upstairs needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Any additional comments?
This may be for others but not for me. Too many other good books on the subject. If it had Ben half as long I may have finished it.
