Lacking warmth and depth of narration
Would you listen to Long Walk to Freedom again? Why?
. I would listen to this book again but not until it is read by a better voice sorry.
How could the performance have been better?
I have already listened to conversations with myself and found it a beautiful listen, I had hoped for the same warmth and to learn more about this great man but sadly the American accent really affected this books listening, I found myself switching off and at times becoming annoyed by the lack of beauty that can be heard when the African language is pronounced in a tongue capable of giving it the rolls and ripples it deserves

Insightful and Interesting
The story is very insightful and interesting, I have not fact checked it for accuracy but thats not the point.
It is a recollection of Nelson Mandela’s life story.

Incredible insight into a significant figure
I feel I understand a huge amount more about a very important part of both African and world history. Very easy to get lost in Nelson Mandela's story very quickly! Highly recommended

Heart lifting story
Insight into Mandela's fortitude and character. Narrator speaks with feeling and understanding. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant & read by Morgan Freeman!
I already knew some of the Nelson Mandela story but to read the whole thing has reminded me what an amazing achievement & contribution he made to the current South Africa. Morgan Freemans voice is so distinctive, truly amazing.

An amazing story that deserved an African narrator
As a South African it was a massive effort to convince myself to keep listening to a narrative that tried hus best, but butchered the pronunciation of most of the native names, places and characters. I'm sure other versions exist that do this story justice

An absolute must read (listen)!
What an amazing book. I didn’t know enough about Nelson Mandela but have been blown away by this book and learning about such an amazing life. Danny Glover narrates brilliantly and the production of the audiobook is very good. Highly recommend

great book
I loved the book, Danny Glover read it well. was nice he really tried his best to pronounce the names correctly. I expected it to be a few hours more because I have the book on my shelf and that is a really thick book. But nevertheless I enjoyed it from start to finish. I knew most parts of the story but still surprised that all of this isn't fiction and that it still exists in this world in many different forms.

Amazing Book about amazing Man
I have dyslexia and this is a book I wanted to read for a long time. Thanks to Audiobooks I have now sat and listen to this amazing book about Amazing Man. Amazing music in the background too. Learnt so much
