Would you try another book from Bobby Charlton and/or Christian Rodska?
It is a quick gloss over a great career. Not many interesting back stories. Not even as good as the Munich movie which did a better job on Charlton's playing time at United. It's a good enough read but falls short at 2 hours. It barely mentions the Alex Ferguson times when Sir Bobby was a director. It would have been nice to see his viewpoints on more of this.
Has My Manchester United Years turned you off from other books in this genre?
No - I love sporting biographies but this was not a very complete one
Would you listen to another book narrated by Christian Rodska?
Yes - did a good job on Sir Bobby's accent
Do you think My Manchester United Years needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I would like to see a proper job done on a fitting tribute to Charlton from his young days to the world cup to the European cup and onwards to management and the boardroom and ambassadorship at United.
Any additional comments?
Worth about $3-$4 based on the short running time
