A very interesting analysis
Seeing the review comment from the Independent I wondered if this would be little more than an attack on Blair. Instead I found it fascinating and enlightening. I also enjoyed the author reading it himself. It did seem to jump about a bit, and at less than three hours I would have welcomed an unabridged verson if that had changed that.

Interesting summary of the 'war on terror'
What made the experience of listening to The Accidental American the most enjoyable?
I am keen on politics so know quite a lot about it but it was very satisfying to hear all the things we think we know about structured into a narrative, well told by the author, who knows his stuff. Tony Blair and his obsession with 'legacy' is more than slightly scary.
Which character – as performed by James Naughtie – was your favourite?
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Tony Blair - A Napolean for the 21st Century
Any additional comments?
Would have been more satisfied by an unabridged version. It's a highly significant part of history (for all the wrong reasons btw Tony) and I would have liked more detail.
