Say what you like about Donald Trump, but the guy can write a book. No question. This is a very honest book full of things that we wish the politicians would just come out and say! Although its all about the USA there are many similarities to the situation faced by the UK too. I just wish there were more people in the government with a Donald Trump approach. I suspect it was written to somehow gain popularity for his possible run for office but never the less I really respect him for having the courage to say what is in this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it, not least because the narrator Malcolm Hillgartner does his usual fantastic job communicating Donald Trump's aggressive, no nonsense style.

If I had read this before the election it would have been great. Since he's decided to pursue the Zionist globalist agenda of endless wars in the ME for Israel, it's like reading old love letters after you've learned your man is having an affair. Left me depressed.

I've always found Donald Trump to be entertaining, but I prefer him when he's not talking - or writing - about politics. With that said, this book is fairly enjoyable, but keep in mind that you're paying to hear Trump's opinion on the economy and how to turn things around. Don't assume everything he says is fact. He's a smart guy, and I'm sure his motivation for getting this book published was to make money and position himself as a potential Presidential candidate - should he decide to run in 2012.
Like many books that strive to be persuasive, several of Trump's points are beat to death - specifically those about OPEC and China. While his reasoning seems logical, I feel he spent a little too much time trying to convince the reader - or the listener in this case - that he is right. What I found fascinating was his take on publicly-funded programs like social security and welfare. It's a shame you never hear him interviewed on TV about these issues.
The narrator did a fantastic job of capturing Trump's signature, no-BS attitude that we've all come to love or, in some cases, hate. He's a real delight to listen to, and I'll have to look out for him when downloading audiobooks in the future.
If you like Trump, you'll probably like "Time to Get Tough." While it's not a classic business book, like "The Art of the Deal," it is definitely an entertaining and well read audiobook that's worth checking out.
