If I could get past Jill Soloway's mocking, valley girl narrative I might have enjoyed this book as the description was right up my alley. She did that annoying thing? Where every sentence? Ended in a question mark? Ugh. I love anything Hollywood or entertainment driven. Her narration was so irritating I could only stomach about an hour before I was so over it I had to turn it off. This book was hard to get through, in fact, I abandoned it at the appendices. It's boring and unfunny. Parts are off while others are downright strange and uncomfortable. In an era where female comedians are writing hilarious tales of their endearing oddities, this book comes in with off putting anecdotes and unrelatable humor. It felt like a punishment to myself trying to finish this listen and in the end I just gave up.
