Good writing but bad characterisation and ending

The writing and handling of the action and pacing were good. But the characterisation of the three protagonists was frustratingly bad at times, and the ending comes as abruptly as it does disappointingly.
Still entertaining enough for most of the story.

Hack'n'slash nonsense, but ok in the end.

Sloppy writing, somewhat dodgy character portrayal (eg. Minra) but plenty of sleuthing and action make it just about worthwhile.
