Publisher's Summary

John C. Maxwell combines insights from 30-plus years of leadership with observations from business, politics, sports, religion, and military conflict to bring you a revealing study of the laws of leadership that govern your personal and organizational effectiveness. Find out why Henry Ford nearly sent his own company into bankruptcy; why Princess Diana was loved by millions while her husband couldn't persuade people to give him the time of day; why Coca-Cola's stock held strong even when its CEO suddenly died; and why some entrepreneurs receive plenty of money from venture capitalists while others can't get a dime.

I really don't know what else to say but "BLOODY BRILLIANT" and "INSPIRATIONAL. Every thing in this audio book is great. I love it from start to finish. Maybe not everyone will get the same thing from it as i do but its worth the download.

Not as cringeworthy or annoying as other management books

I've read several management books almost all of which I find irritating or obvious. This strikes a nice balance as it's an easy listen and some useful tips. Nothing earth shattering but good solid advice and some interesting examples. It was clearly written pre-Lance Armstrong controversy so perhaps that will be removed in future editions. There is some mention of religion but not too much to be off putting for those who are non religious.
