Summary

The primarch Angron: gladiator-king and Horus' lunatic attack dog. Never having hidden his resentment for his brothers, he now carves a bloody swathe through the galaxy in the Warmaster's name, with the Heresy providing a convenient excuse to indulge his love of brutal warfare. When they are tasked with a secretive mission alongside the Word Bearers Legion, the World Eaters' violent tendencies soon attract the attention of xenos raiders, troubled by the portents surrounding the primarch's berserk fury and his ultimate destiny as 'the Blood God's son'....

The Butcher's Nails

This is by far the best depiction of the characters, Angron sounds spot on. Regal and brutish, just like the character.

Serenity in Rage.

One of my favourite Warhammer performances to date. Compelling story, excellent characters, superb sound, phenomenal cast and written by Aaron Dembski Bowden. No higher praise can I give. The cast make each character feel unique and alive, while the story really cements why we love the World Eaters. MUST read if you're a Horus heresy fan.

Great Voice acting, but short

The voice acting and reading in the audio book is spot on, however quite short. It is still a very enjoyable listen and if you have any interest in the world eaters or the characters I would recommend.

Great for Background

I enjoyed this book. Great for some background with Angron and the relationship with Lorgar.
