Shockingly bad.

Charles Dickens in the style of Dick Van Dycke. Lasted a couple of minutes before returning....truly awful.

Gets you in the mood

Not a scratch on A Xmas Carol but an ok CD Xmas story, I got this free and wouldn't have wanted to have paid a lot for it if I had.

I liked the radio drama set up as it was something different but agree it could have been better.

Good Story for Christmas - but not up to the Carol

A nice dramatization of this book - certainly worth a listen but don't expect a Christmas Carol and it's not up to the Cricket on the Hearth.

does not really ring

All right to fill a little time in, but not up to scratch with A Christmas Carol with the same theme of salvation.

Found the American Accents quite grating when they were trying to do English.

Not so great

Unfortunately this is very disappointing as the accents are very bad and others makes listening very distracting and somewhat grating on the ear. I would not recommend this production I am afraid. I struggled to make it half way through. I purchased this for 99p as part of the Xmas advent calendar offer, but it is not even worth that price.

Awful

I couldn't listen to all of it, the narration was the worst I've ever heard. It was hard to follow the story due to the narration being so poor, their accents were simply terrible and not professional at all. I am surprised and disappointed that audible offered this in their advent calendar because I thought it must be a good story for them to offer it.
