Summary

Merman Rigel the Hunter has prayed for an end to his people's curse. Immortality has come with a high price - loneliness. When a beautiful human female - Lyra Harne - is thrown into the ocean, her fate is in his hands. Unable to deny her, he saves her, but at what cost? Living in the lost city of Atlantes, women are rare and this sexy mortal is more than this hard up warrior can resist.

Is the beauty Rigel saves a gift from the gods? Or just another part of their curse? Temptation and desire are no match for fate, and the truth of Lyra's shipwreck just might prove too much for this underwater affair.

Another wonderful story

This another wonderful story from Michele M Pillow. Rigel saves Kyra when the ship she is on sinks. Due to the trauma of this she walks around in a daze for a time and blames Rygel and his people for the deaths of her family. Over time she see's she is wrong and that she could have a future with Rigel. This is a great story with great characters and plenty of steam.

Great short

This book follows Rigel who rescues Lyra from the wreck caused by the Silla . Lyra isn’t as easy to explain things too as Bridget and Cassie were and she gets very belligerent with Rigel and blames him for killing her family.

not the best in the series

i still enjoyed it, but the FC was not of my liking. hated her attitude. also it was a short book more focused on sex than in an emotional story in comparison to book 1 and 2. but there is still an emotional side to it, that is what i liked more about the story. narrator was good but i don't think her tone is he best choice for this kind of stories.

Thoroughly enjoyable

This, the third book in the series follows Lyra, who is rescued by Rigel, whilst the rest of her family are lost at sea. The plot is full of danger an passion, there being plenty in this tale, despite it being shorter than the first two books. A good storyline though I wasn’t enamoured with Lyra a a character.

Nice story

A rescued damsel finds it difficult to adjust to her new world and situation. Great story with interesting and entertaining characters! Hope there will be a story involving one or both of the twins! The narrator did a great job with this short story by providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Another Captivating Read

In this short novella we meet Rigel and Lyra. Lyra took a little bit of warming up to as she comes across very standoffish and anti everything “merr”! But its understandable after what she’s been through. Though it’s short, there’s plenty to hold your attention. Another great addition to the series.
