Summary
The Raiders are a talented young skydiving team - with a secret. They are also a highly trained group of covert operatives, carrying out deniable missions for Britain's intelligence services. Under the demanding guidance of their ice-cold leader, an ex SAS explosives expert with many live covert special ops missions into active war zones behind him, the Raiders are developing into an impressive unit. Gripping, Exciting
I loved the whole storyline, I was gripped from the go, I really enjoyed reading these 2 books and hope that a 3rd will be released. It is exciting and gripping, the story always gets your full attention. My best bits are when you get to know all the different sayings and what equipment is and what it's used for.

Disappointing
Would you consider the audio edition of DropZone: Terminal Velocity to be better than the print version?
The only benefit of the audio version over the written, is the personality given by the narrator Nigel Pilkington.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I almost flat-lined... out of boredom.
Have you listened to any of Nigel Pilkington’s other performances? How does this one compare?
I have listened to a couple of narrations by Nigel Pilkington and this is on par with them.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I have listened several times, each time, trying to glean interest from the plot... both in parts and in full... the performance of the narrator was fine... the storey felt mass produced, rushed and so far from McNab's normal flair, I begrudge the price of the credit that paid for it.

amazing
This book kept my 10yr old rivetted and wanting to ge to bed so he could listen some more. It took him a few days to tell me about some of the colourful language but it is written about kids and it's no more than they are used to in the school playground. The only draw back was he fell asleep listening to it and had to get me to reset his kindle every night. Kept him a happy boy for hours.

Escapism during a dull flight,
predictable in parts, similar in the format,

Not up there with McNabs best
Would you try another book written by Andy McNab or narrated by Nigel Pilkington?
I quite enjoy Mc Nabs' books but this narrator is HIGHLY annoying, I have gotten used to Paul Thornley and others who are just more natural than Pilkington. The story is thin and predictable, I found 'Silencer' a whole lot better and more gripping.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Different narrator would have been a good start.
Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Nigel Pilkington?
