Summary

You're about to join the adventures of Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, and Angel, six extraordinary kids who have powers like no other: they can fly, and they're being chased - no, hunted - across America and around the world.

THIS IS THE END, MY FRIENDS. But I promise that you'll fly higher than ever before in this wild adventure, witness battles worthy of multiplex movie screens, and laugh until your sides hurt. Believe it or not, there's even a little romance. But all good things (and even terrible, unspeakable ones) must come to an end. This is that moment in time, I'm afraid. Either we save the world, or we crash and burn. And I mean all of us - even you, faithful listener, because you play a very big part in this story.

Max The Flock needs your help. Yes, you. Join us at www.maximumride.com.

rubbish music & short

I read the first maximum ride books many years ago. and when I noticed them on audible I thought great these will take me back to my younger days. But I was very disappointed the music was terrible, I don't mind a small snipet at the beginning of a chapter but pretty much constant through out. the reader was good just the music over the voice gave me headache.

May be its because I am older now but the story seemed to stop just as it was getting started. I stupidly bought book 4 as well, really in 2 minds whether or not to start it but my ocd impels me to finish the whole story till book 8.
if it ever comes on the sale or free to members then yeah it's suitable for at 10-12 year old who dreams of flying with amazing wings (as I did)
over all I'm gutted.
