Tony Head reads this marvellously, as he does most things, but I'm not hugely impressed by the actual content. A lot of little boys are fascinated with space travel and our moon. Some of them were even around when the moon landing happened, yes, and most of them grow up. That's basically all this little thing is, and the most interesting thing about it (beyond the narrator) is the background music (which is sadly not credited at the end).
Not bad, but it doesn't have much re-read value.
If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?
I bought this book thinking it would be good for my 9 year old Grandson to listen to. I expected some sort of storyline. There was no content to engage his interest.
Has The Sea of Tranquility put you off other books in this genre?
Would you be willing to try another one of Anthony Head’s performances?
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
