Summary

In a fading town, far from anyone he knew or trusted, a young Lemony Snicket began his apprenticeship in an organization nobody knows about. He began asking questions that shouldn't have been on his mind. In this title, he has written an account that should not be published and shouldn't be listened to.

Love it!!!!

What did you like most about Who Could That Be At This Hour??

It is a good story a great read. Not a straight forward book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

S. Theodora Markson because of her fieghsty temper and knowledge of words.

Any additional comments?

Good book.

Meh storyline

Overly complicated storyline to follow...clearly not one of Lemony Snickets best work. Stick to his "Series of Unfortunate Events" and this author will truly shine.

Great story but like this headline it ended too...

The family was loving listening to this book on our vacation but then the Audible Guy interrupted. We all blurted out, "What?!" when he announced that he hoped we enjoyed the audiobook.

No problem; I'll just get the next one. But there is a problem. It's not available in my region! Ugh! That's not even fair.

Here is where you'd see the part of my review that's actually about the book but unfortunately it isn't available in your region.

the genius I have come to expect from Snicket

I love this story. It has the same quirky sense of humor that I love so much in A Series of Unfortunate Events, with deep truths about humanity woven casually into a very interesting story with great characters.

Liam Aiken is a pleasure to listen to.
