Summary

When Portuguese sailor Ferdinand Magellan set sail from Spain in 1519, he believed he could get to the Spice Islands by sailing west through or around the New World. He was right, but what he didn't know was that the treacherous voyage would take him three years and cost him his life.

I hate it

What would have made Who Was Ferdinand Magellan? better?

if you could skip to where you want to read I would like it a lot.

Second for us of this series...

...and my kids, ages 8 & under, are starting to get into them. We listened to this for a couple nights while going to sleep, and it has generated conversation the next day. Can't ask for more. :-)
