Timeless story with talented cast
The cast take you on a journey, that feels effortless and warm. The story is timeless, with the characters coming to life with the very talented cast. I cannot recommend this enough.

Doesn't disappoint
As a long term lover of Winnie the Pooh I downloaded this book to remind myself of the exact text A.A.Milne wrote. I was slightly nervous about revisiting a childhood memory in the form of an audio book, as the people reading a story can ruin the voices I gave characters growing up, but these stars delivered well. My only complaint is that Stephen Fry didn't sing Pooh's hums, only speak them in rhythm. Glad I got both Winnie the Pooh and House at Pooh Corner.

Disappointed in the character voices
I liked the general narration but found the character voices like piglet to be so bad that I discontinued listening

I loved these. The ending made my mum cry. My favourite part was the final story.

Purchased this as love Winnie the Pooh and when I was expecting my first child wanted some audible stories to calm her down during sleep time now she is 11 days old and settles her nicely

Like listening to theatre
Wonderful. My 4yo son adores it and during quarantine it’s been his friend in the background. Love Fry and Dench who give great performances bringing the stories to life

Excellent performance. ..but no mp3
Would you consider the audio edition of Winnie the Pooh: The House at Pooh Corner (Dramatised) to be better than the print version?
Huh? How can the audio book be better than reading to your child and looking at the wonderful illustrations?
What did you like best about this story?
How can you not love a Bear of Little Brain? Especially when Stephen Fry and Judi Dench are there to help him through the stories.
Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favourite?
The narrator, shared across readers and easily passed back and forth.
Any additional comments?
Yes...
The Audible download software shows you can download it for mp3 players. However, it actually downloads an aac file which is not compatible with my car's system so I need to buy the CO.

A little dose of childhood
The performances are excellent, the stories are incredibly funny and the characters all represent facets of adult behaviour.

Wonderful & heartwarming stories and performance!
Some of my favourite actors and their excellent voices and characterisations! My faves are Jane Horrocks as Piglet, Geoffrey Palmer as Eeyore, and Sandi Toksvig as Tigger. :) Perfection!
