great stories, top actors, ruined by audio editing

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

the incidental music was so loud that I had to turn the volume down whenever it blasted in (frequently) , then back up again in order to hear the dialogue.

What did you like best about this story?

All the stories were well-written classics

Which scene did you most enjoy?

There were several equally enjoyable.

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Not true - I loved the book - all except the awful production; The music was at least three times as loud as the dialogue - The 1-star overall rating is purely due to the fact that my listening pleasure was ruined by having to constantly play with the volume control
