Childhood revisited

Where does Alice In Wonderland rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

But this is because I ADORED listening to this as a child. When I read Alice, these are voices I hear. I was culling my possessions the other day and even though I no longer have a record player these days, I was reluctant to chuck the records, so I was DELIGHTED to find them on line. Good Classic

This will always be one of my favorite stories. Overall the audio, the effects & narrarators were good..with only one exception..I just think Alices's voice should've been a younger one. Joan Greenwood (Alice) sounds just like Bette Davis! Whom I ADORE by the way..but DEF NOT for the voice of Alice.
