the narration was wonderful, peaceful, fun, dramatic, loving, just like the
story. I would recommend this to all those who enjoy a living family story.

Delightfully relaxing

H.E. Bates is the great rural storyteller. His Larkin novels evoke a countryside that is at once restful and nostalgic. Pop is a loveable rogue of a man who just wants everyone he loves to have fun. These stories are fun to listen to. Beautifully read. My only criticism is that they are far too short!
