Love this book

I first read this book many years ago and as I am a ky girl myself it really resonated with me. I love this book and the way it’s read a loud here on audible. The people in the story could be people I know or am related to and they way the narrator speaks brought me back to my grandmothers kitchen when I was a child. Thank you Silas house for capturing the very essence of what it means to be mountain people!

Great narration

Characters- plot- setting- wonderfully done. Language a bit strong - but overall - superbly done. Must read!
