Stick to the standup

What would have made Rhod Gilbert's Bulging Barrel of Laughs: Complete Series 1 better?

It could, should have been funnier. The format of the show which is the tired old chat show with music is dull. The analogies in the introduction to each episode are pretty sad too.

Has Rhod Gilbert's Bulging Barrel of Laughs: Complete Series 1 put you off other books in this genre?

Yes, I would be unlikely to get more chat shows, although love his stand-up
