Summary

A rapist on the loose, a young girl missing, a robbery at a leisure complex run by a low life, and an old man knocked down by a driver who wouldn't stop. Detective Inspector Jack Frost knew that there would be lots more to come.

The crime novel at its compelling best as David Jason reads R. D. Wingfield's A Touch of Frost.

just like watching Frost on TV

Loved this, could just picture David Jason in character.
Only disappointed factor is that this was the abridged version.

Fabulous Frost just like TV

I enjoyed my first instalment of Frost read by David Jason. Story is abridged and fast paced, so you need to concentrate to keep up. David Jason is a pleasure to listen to. Will download further books from same series. zlooking fwd to my next credit!

Great detective story

Great narration from Frost himself, an in depth version of the tv episode. Much enjoyed and will go on to listen to more from the series.

Love David Jason narrating but not as good as tv

Loved the narration by David Jason, but really prefer the character on the TV programme to the book the author portrays frost quite sleazy and seedy. Hard to get into especially when you are familiar with the TV character. Can understand why the author didn't approve of the programme as not a real portrayal, but dislike his version of frost.
