Summary

Flight 2262 is bound for paradise, but a rogue terrorist could send it to the bottom of the ocean....

Kevin can't wait to land in Hawaii for a romantic getaway. But when the off-duty pilot takes a glance at his GPS, he's in for a surprise: the plane is headed to the middle of the Pacific Ocean. And he's the only one who knows it.

Expecting the worst, Kevin heads to the cockpit. Before he can take the controls, he's got a rookie air marshal, a stewardess with a grudge, and a barricade to get through. With a storm on the way and limited fuel, Kevin must recruit the support of the frightened passengers to save the day. As long as he can survive the one person on board who won't rest until all of them are dead.

Absolute Drivel. AVOID.

"Cringy" "left me feeling like the need for a bath" "this book repelled me" "repulsive" "childlike" were all comments from our book club after we took the time to have a go at this book.

For what had the premise of a decent story, it spun headfirst into sexist, misogynistic and racial stereotyping; all before the bomb actually goes off......I will not be reading ANYTHING by this author and if this review stops one person suffering as I had to, then it is worth my time.

Not bad

Tech side I enjoyed and felt convincing. The way people behaved less so. The story overall was good. Characters were good. I just feel an experienced editor might have turned what is a quite good book into a rave read. It is all there except for the feeling of, really, they did that? Like, just sit still for two hours and not ask a question?

Mixed, good in places, a bit mad in others

Decent story, an unoriginal premise, delivered well but has a tendency to have the characters act overly dramatic or dumb for no real tangible reason.

Dissapointed that other perspectives aren't shown more when things go wrong, especially the law enforcement types that appear in one scene then not seen again (writing this about 2 thirds through). Would add a level of tension to see what the ground team are trying to do.

Also a bit gorier than thought do if you have a sensitivity to that, maybe look elsewhere.
