Less explicit sex

Didn't finish the book

Did not like any of them

Any additional comments?

This is an intriguing story. Unfortunately the explicit sex scenes put me totally off the book. I tried to skip, but it forms part of the story. Eventually I gave up. I would not have bought the book had I known about it. Maybe in future a little advance warning from Audible?

No hint of the ending - great to see!

What did you like most about Angels Bleed?

A can't put down edge of your seat psychological thriller. I really like the way that it has alternating chapters. This unfolds in Rebecca's horrifying story is gradually revealed from her point of view while D.I. John Saul races against the clock to uncover the truth.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the character writing. They are excellent. They feel real with plenty of detail to their background. They draw you in and you want to know more about them, especially D.I. John Saul.

What does Alex More bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

The narrator has a crystal clear voice that was engaging and very easy to understand and also very pleasant to listen to. That's always essential for an audiobook, although I'd say that on top of this his pace was also excellent.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Prepare to explore the darkest reaches of your mind.
