Publisher's Summary

Rebus is juggling four cases trying to nail one killer - who might just lead back to the infamous Bible John. And he's doing it under the scrutiny of an internal inquiry led by a man he has just accused of taking backhanders from Glasgow's Mr Big. Added to that there are TV cameras at his back investigating a miscarriage of justice, making Rebus a criminal in the eyes of a million or more viewers. Just one mistake is likely to mean an unpleasant and not particularly speedy death or, worse still, losing his job.
Ian Rankin is a novelist of great scope. Black and Blue is a powerfully complex crime novel that offers a panoramic portrait of modern Scotland, from Glasgow gangland to the oil platforms of the North Sea.

Language Warning Needed - Foreign Langauge

This audio book is actually read in Hebrew. Something the cover art shows but the text doesn't flag up.

I bought the audiobook without realising this and ended up with a book I couldn't listen to

Quite why Audible are selling an audiobook in Hebrew on a web site dealing with English speaking customers, I am not sure. The other review asks why the audiobook is in a foreign language. So I am not the only one to get caught by this.

I tried to get a refund, but the hassle became too much. Audible are NOT GOOD at answering emails. So I gave up and chalked the lost money up to experience. Just wouldn't want anyone else to make the same mistake as me.

Personally I think Audible should take this item down or re-write the text to make it very clear that this audio book in in a foreign language.

(Note - The one star rating refers to the poor warning on the language, not the content of the book)
