Der neue, kurze Thriller von Jo Nesbø hat bereits zwei Jahre vor seiner Erscheinung für Furore gesorgt. 2013 ging nämlich das Gerücht um, dass Leonardo DiCaprio sich die Filmrechte an dem noch gar nicht (fertig) geschriebenen Roman gesichert habe - was allerdings kein Wunder wäre, denn die Story über einen (einsamen) Killer, der die (wunderschöne) Frau seines Bosses in dessen Auftrag umbringen soll und sich dabei in sein Opfer verliebt, gehört zu dem Stoff, aus dem Hollywoodträume gewebt sind.
Summary
Oslo in den 1970er Jahren: Olav lebt das einsame Leben eines Killers. Als Killer ist es nicht leicht, anderen Menschen nahe zu kommen. Doch jetzt hat Olav die Frau seiner Träume gefunden. Aber: Sie ist die Frau seines Chefs. Und Olav wurde gerade beauftragt, sie zu töten.
