Diese Brüder sind wie Hund und Katze. Der eine versucht alles richtig zu machen: Holger Brinks ist Kommissar bei der Mordkommission, hat ein Haus mit Garten, Familie. Der andere macht ziemlich viel falsch: Charlie ist Privatdetektiv und wohnt bei seinen Gespielinnen, bis sie ihn vor die Tür setzen. Und dann hat er auch noch eine Verbindung zum Opfer in Holgers aktuellem Todesfall, der mit einem Koffer voller Kokain in einem Berliner Luxushotel gefunden wird... Temporeicher, erster Auftritt der Bullenbrüder vom Autorenduo Edgar Rai und Hans Rath.

Summary

Holger Brinks ist Kommissar bei der Mordkommission. Sein Bruder Charlie schlägt sich als Privatschnüffler durchs Leben. Der eine ein korrekter Beamter mit Familie, der andere ein ausgebuffter Hallodri mit Bindungsproblemen. Als Charlie mal wieder von einer Beinahe-Traumfrau vor die Tür gesetzt wird, bittet er seinen Bruder um Obdach - und landet auf der Luftmatratze in Holgers Gartenlaube. Der Kommissar steht beruflich unter Druck. Der engste Vertraute des Berliner Unterweltbosses Bobby Schütz wurde tot im Aufzug eines Berliner Luxushotels gefunden - mit einem Koffer voller Kokain. Pikanterweise hat auch Charlie Verbindungen zu Schütz und seinem Clan...

Ganz nett

Wohlfühlkrimi für ein verregnetes Wochenende. Wer Tiefgang, eine plausible Geschichte oder atemlose Spannung erwartet, wird hier enttäuscht. Herbst liest wie immer: meistens gut, manchmal übertreibt er.
